This Uno Selfix is larger than the Selfix presented in the Butcher catalog of 1913/1914, with a format of 8 x 11 cm. The principle remains the same, featuring automatic deployment upon opening the front cover and an infinite distance adjustment.
It is entirely made of metal with an unspecified covering material. Neither the brand nor the shutter speeds are indicated. There is no choice for the lens; it is inevitably an Aldis Uno Anastigmat with an aperture of 7.7, hence the model name.
The focus adjustment is located above and behind the shutter and lens block. On the engraving, the distance scale is visible on the wave-shaped part. It is likely that a slider allows the entire block to be moved.
This model bears many similarities to the Ica Cupido, but there are also differences, notably in the shape of the folding mechanism.
